Coinciding with Alex Stewart's departure for China, SDCHM would like to
introduce the newest member of our team, Laura Touhey. Originally from
the East Coast, Laura moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue a teaching
career and spent six years in preschool and elementary classrooms.
Laura and her husband relocated to San Diego this summer and we are so
glad they did. With a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University
of Michigan and back-to-back internships at the United States Holocaust
Memorial Museum in Washington, DC and the Children's Museum of
Indianapolis (in addition to her classroom experience), Laura has a lot
to contribute here at SDCHM. An avid museum goer, Laura is excited to
combine her personal passions with her professional experience and to
help out with our Educational Programs in Alex Stewart's absence.
